Statewide Program
Wisconsin: Making it Home programs, like the Making it Home film festival tour, invite us to get to know each other better, while discovering new things about where we live.

At the film festival events, you'll have opportunities to talk with one another about the world we're a part of, our shared human history on this planet, and find common ground on which to build visions for the future. Making it Home is all about finding ways to live as part of a healthy community.

Key Ingredients
Key Ingredients: America by Food is another program of Making it Home. This Smithsonian exhibition will tour to six communities: Reedsburg, Rhinelander, River Falls, Westfield, Brodhead, and Osseo. The exhibition tour will inspire these communities to explore the special connections that exist between Americans and the foods they produce, prepare, preserve, and present at the table. Starting in the fall of 2010, visit all six communities on the Key Ingredients tour: six Wisconsin communities!

Film Fest
The Making it Home Film Festivals kick off in the spring of 2010 and will be in Baraboo, Dodgeville, Milwaukee, and the Chequamegon Bay region (Ashland/Bayfield). Each festival will feature different films and an exciting mix of community-produced events. Get out, see the state, and see how these four Wisconsin cities are Making it Home.

The Making it Home Film Festival tour is proudly supported by the Wisconsin Department of Tourism! Visit www.travelwisconsin.com

The Wisconsin Humanities Council also thanks Wisconsin Public Television and Wisconsin Public Radio for additional support for the Making It Home Film Festivals.
